Naafia Naahemaa is a visual artist whose work spans photography, moving image, sound, and material-based processes. She explores and preserves African memory, carrying it forward through new artistic forms.
 

Central to her work is humanity’s relationship with the divine, inner consciousness, and the continual process of becoming.
